HAVAG congress ticket
For all participants who do not have a Deutschland-Ticket / 49€ ticket or a BahnCard100, we will provide a free public transport ticket in cooperation with Hallesche Verkehrs AG. The ticket is valid on all congress days (Sunday – Wednesday) and entitles you to free travel by bus and train within the city limits.
When registering in confTool, please indicate whether you require a HAVAG congress ticket.
It will probably be made available via our congress app, which is currently still being built and is expected to be available for download from the end of January.
Special trips to major events
In order to make your visit as pleasant as possible, we are working hard to organise special trips from the foundations to the Steintorvarieté (GEW evening) and from the Händelhalle to the Volkspark (social evening). You will find more information about the departure times of the trams and buses here. The special trips will be free of charge for all participants.

Arrival
We recommend that all congress participants travel by train, also with a view to a sustainable congress. Halle is well connected to the German long-distance transport network due to its geographical location and the fact that, unlike Leipzig, it is a through station and not a terminus station. Tram lines 7 and 9 run directly from the station to the Francke Foundations, taking you quickly to your destination.
If you do decide to come by car, we would like to point out that there are no parking spaces near the foundations. The Foundation grounds are traffic-calmed and car-free. (Exception for an access permit: People with disabilities. Please notify us of your need by email to dgfe2024@uni-halle.de).
