DGfE Congress 2024 – Student Assistants Wanted
A festival of educational science
The 29th Congress of the German Society for Educational Science (DGfE) will take place in Halle from 10 to 13 March 2024. We are expecting around 2,000 academics to discuss educational perspectives on the congress theme of “Crises and Transformations”. The congress will take place primarily on the grounds of the Francke Foundations. For the preparation and realisation of the congress we need a large team of student assistants. Be there when the largest congress in the history of MLU takes place.

Do you have the time and desire to become part of the congress team? We look forward to receiving your application,
IF YOU
- can be on site in Halle from 04.03. to 15.03.2024 and are flexibly available for approx. 30 to 80 working hours during this time.
- can imagine working in these areas:
- Room management and coordination on site: e.g. preparation of the rooms, simple technical support, if requested by the speakers, etc.Supply: support of the coffee stations, catering (sometimes in cooperation, close consultation with the respective providers)Registration, admission control, transport, luggage, etc.
- Support of the AG work: communication, website support, hotline work
- and are enrolled at a German university at the time of employment.
WE OFFER YOU
- a tariff employment (currently TV-L 3) for the month of March 2024 in the range of 30 to 80 hours as well as allowances for evening and weekend duties,
- Preparatory training in all relevant fields of work during your working hours (safety, hygiene, etc.),
- a coordinated duty roster that allows for planning,
- great experiences in a young and motivated congress team,
- many encounters with exciting people,
- by arrangement, the possibility to participate in individual panels and lectures
- and, of course, an invitation to the helper’s party after the end of the congress on 13 March 2024.
